Central to the artwork we see the Cross, representative of the Church vision of bringing heaven to earth within, among and beyond.  Three pathways flowing across the canvas, rise upwards, each with traditional people symbols moving forward and climbing higher within the design.

This imagery is symbolic of people coming into the graining and becoming a part of a community of people committed to building the Kingdom of God. Multiple colours used within the people symbols is reflective of diversity, inclusion and brings a welcome to all.

These three pathways highlight Reconciliation key values of – respect, relationship and opportunity, while the artwork backdrop of songlines celebrates and acknowledges Awabakal people.  These songlines show country of the Awabakal, who are known as the people of the hills and plains.

Running across the very bottom of the artwork, imagery reflects Mount Yengo ‘the Uluru of the East’, a significant place to the Awabakal and surrounding tribal clan groups in the region.

Love the gentle colours and spirituality

We were the first to buy a print of this amazing art work
Such a beautiful art work. I love the colours and gentle movement in the print. We bought the 100 cm work and receive positive comments so often
I later bought cushions which link to the colours in this artwork.
The original artwork is at the The Grainery church in Mayfield West and can be viewed in the front foyer. It has sand and depth in the paint that I can’t describe but is awesome.
Can’t recommend this artists work enough

Thank you Penny :)
