Wakool Parai — meaning 'One Country' — is a sweeping celebration of the beauty, diversity, and deep connections of Aboriginal people, culture, and Country across the nation and across time. Generations past, present, and future are interwoven throughout a landscape of desert, bushland, waterways, and coastline, a testament to a people who have always valued family, community, and belonging to place.

The circles flowing across the canvas carry a threefold meaning: the central circles represent ancestors and past generations; the expanding waves flowing outward symbolise the sharing of stories and knowledge to future generations; and the larger circles honour the Elders, leaders, and clan groups who are guiding the way today. Vibrant, layered, and alive with meaning.

This vibrantly coloured artwork endeavours to capture and bring to life the beauty, diversity and connections of Aboriginal people, culture and country across our nation and time. Generations past, present and future are interwoven throughout the landscape of desert, bush land, waterways and coastline demonstrating strong connection to country and celebrating a people who greatly value family and community.

Our people and communities are depicted by the circles flowing across the canvas from right to left in an upward motion and have a threefold meaning: The central circles depicts past generations, our ancestors, while the expanding waves flowing outward from these circles symbolises the sharing of stories and knowledge to future generations. Their prominent placement within the artwork and the bright colours used signify respect and the importance of passing on our cultural knowledge. Large within the painting represent our community Elders/Leaders, clan groups and organisations, those who are now leading the way and role models to our youth.

Linen/Cotton: - Made from 100% natural fabric, 55% linen and 45% cotton, 50 x 50 cm, with design both sides, they are perfect for the lounge or bed. They are suitable for indoors use only.

They are perfect for the lounge, bed, pool side or in your garden – your choices are endless. Now with over 40 designs to choose from and all include Awabakal language Aboriginal names and stories from across Australia.

Free post for orders over $100 with Sendle, otherwise it's from $10.90 from Australia Post.

Australia and Express post available at checkout.

Orders made by 2pm will be dispatched the same day from Toronto NSW 2283. Local Collection also available from Toronto NSW 2283.

International post available from AU$40

Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Full refund provided if you’re not happy.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase to be included with the returned item.

Refunds:

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval of your refund.

Once approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 days.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
