Every clan has a totem. Every totem has a story.

In Aboriginal culture, a totem is a natural object — plant or animal — inherited by members of a clan as their emblem. Each group is responsible for the stewardship of their totem, caring for it across generations. Saretta's totem is the Wedge Tail Eagle.

Yunung — the Turtle — is one of the most respected animals in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. Both saltwater and freshwater turtles were an abundant and favourite food source; females with eggs were returned to the water, while males were cooked in the shell on the open fire. The turtle's shell served many purposes in daily life, and the turtle features prominently in Dreamtime and creation stories as a totem to several tribal groups.

Part of the Totem Series — originally commissioned for Hunter Health in 2014, and connected to the Tankaan Ngatan Bobong (Mother and Baby) collection celebrating pregnancy, birth, and motherhood across the Hunter Valley.

I bought 3 cushion covers as prizes for my work colleagues

I bought 3 cushion covers as prizes for my work colleagues. They are spectacular, the artwork is stunning and they are beautifully made with high-quality materials. This is the third time I have bought cushion covers from you and they do not disappoint. Highly recommend!!

in love with these designs

I recently purchased several cushioncovers of birds/animals
They are terrific, bright and beautifully designed
The service was exceptional for an online delivery. Very, very pleased

Stunning turtle

I could not be happier with my yunung turtle cushion cover !!! I have teamed it up with two Kopara cushions on my bed, on a dark basil green quilt cover.
My daughter inlaw is a graphic designer, and she said " just beautiful !!"
Hmm...still need to finish off with maybe a plain yellow throw . Also I have two euros in a kelp green to go on there. One day a photo !!
The colours are as vivid as depicted, and beautiful quality.
As in keeping with fashion house labels, these have Saretta written across the bottom ( so as not to be mistaken that they came from a mass produced store ).
