Kakool – As One
Traditional symbolism within this design shares the close connection and relationship of marriage within Aboriginal cultural. The tokol was an important ceremony and married site for Awabakal people located at the southern end of Hexham wetlands. Songlines on country engraved into the backdrop reflect the interwoven pathways taken to this site over the generations.
