This artwork shares the story of Elders, family and community.
It highlights Elders as the centre of community, reflected through the traditional symbol for Elders central to the design. People symbols flow from left to right across the canvas and represent past present and future generation.
The artwork also celebrates Elders as the knowledge keepers within the tribal group, sharing the importance of education and passing down cultural learning.
Songlines on country backdrop acknowledges traditional custodians with the rising and falling landscape imagery embracing the Awabakal as the people of the hills and plains.
