This artwork brings strong warm earthy shades to the canvas. Reflective of Wanaruah landscapes of the Hunter, this heavily texture medium depicts the gorgeous rock formations, valleys, hills and ridges of Wanaruah Parai (country) with emphasis on Mount Yengo depicted at the bottom section of the work.
Yengo, a flat topped mountain is a highly significant mountain, (known as the Uluru of the East), found upon Wanaruah country and connect to Biami Cave, as the dreamtime story tells of how Biami God stepped down on top of the mountain during creation.
